Originally from Corning NY in the Finger Lakes Region, currently reside in Beacon NY. Began a transition to healthcare in 2006 after working in the Internet industry. First trained and worked as a registered nurse within various clinical environments, including the psychiatric medical surgical unit of University of Rochester Medical Center, and the neuroscience intensive care unit of VCU Medical Center.

Since 2015, have worked as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with medium and large county agencies, and with small rural practices. All settings involved treatment of diverse underserved populations with serious mental illnesses.

Earned engineering science & RN bachelor's, and MBA & PMHNP master's degrees. Licensed as an RN in 2010, and as a certified PMHNP in 2015.

Avid outdoorser, angler, animal fan, and patron of the arts.
